Sinharaja Rainforest🧡

The sinharaja forest is the only undisturbed rainforest left in sri lanka.

It is said to be about 9000 hectares in size. Many plants can be found in this forest. In 1988,the sinharaja forest was declared a world heritage site. 

                      The distance east to west of the reserve is about 81km . In this way butterflies, birds and trees can be seen in this forest.

 

                      About 20 endemic of  sri lanka have been identified in the Sinha raja forest.

Also, the plants  endemic to sri lanka can be seem here. sinharaja is also home to a number of endangered species sinharaja is a valuable resource that we have at present the forest has been activities. It is our responsibility to prevent it.❤❤
